Role Description The Writer role is a full time, on-site position based in Ernakulam. The Writer will create clear, engaging content that explains Sapphire Energy’s waste management solutions, projects, and sustainability initiatives for various audiences, including clients, partners, and internal stakeholders. Daily tasks include drafting and editing articles, reports, web content, and marketing materials, while ensuring accuracy and alignment with the company’s brand voice and sustainability goals.

The role involves conducting research on industry trends and company operations,



collaborating with technical and commercial teams to translate complex information into accessible language, and maintaining consistent documentation standards. The Writer will also support internal communications and may assist in preparing presentations, case studies, and promotional materials as needed.

Qualifications

Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging content for different formats and audiences.

Ability to research industry topics, analyze technical information, and translate complex concepts into accessible, reader-friendly language.

Experience creating professional documents such as articles, reports, web content, and marketing materials, preferably in industrial or environmental sectors.

Excellent command of English; proficiency in additional local languages is an advantage.

Solid attention to detail, organization, and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Comfort working on-site in Ernakulam and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as technical, operations, and marketing.

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Environmental Studies, English, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Interest in sustainability, waste management, or construction industry topics; prior experience in these areas is a plus.

Proficiency with basic office productivity tools and familiarity with content management or document collaboration platforms.
