Role Description The Workday Trainer role at Nexson IT Academy is a full-time position based in Hyderabad with a hybrid work model, allowing a combination of on-site and work-from-home arrangements. The trainer will design and deliver structured Workday training programs, including instructor-led sessions, hands-on labs, and practical exercises for learners at different skill levels. Day-to-day tasks include preparing training materials, customizing content to meet learner needs, conducting live and virtual classes, and providing guidance on Workday functionality, configuration, and best practices.

The trainer will assess learner progress through assignments and evaluations, offer feedback and mentoring, and support learners in preparing for certification or job placements. The role also involves collaborating with academic coordinators to improve course content, staying current with Workday updates, and contributing to continuous improvement of the training methodology. Qualifications

Strong functional and/or technical expertise in Workday (e.g.,



HCM, Payroll, Finance, or related modules) and hands-on experience with configuration, reporting, and integrations.

Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver structured training content, including lesson plans, presentations, exercises, and assessments, for classroom and online environments.

Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to explain complex Workday concepts in a clear and accessible manner.

Experience with learning technologies and tools such as LMS platforms, virtual classroom software (e.g., Zoom, Teams), and digital content creation tools.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple batches or courses.

Previous experience as a corporate trainer, faculty member, or Workday consultant involved in knowledge transfer or end-user training is highly beneficial.

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, HR, Finance, or a related field; relevant Workday certifications are a plus.
