Role & responsibilities

- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.

- Build scalable backend applications using PHP and integrate them with frontend components.

- Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

- Design and optimize MySQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.

- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and RESTful web services.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.

- Optimize website performance, security, and scalability.

- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Follow coding standards, version control practices (Git), and software development best practices.

- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and sprint planning.

- Prepare technical documentation and support deployment activities.

- Ensure applications are compatible across multiple browsers and devices.

Preferred candidate profile





- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 26 years of hands-on experience in PHP and WordPress development.

- Strong experience in custom WordPress theme and plugin development.

- Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and MySQL.

- Positive understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations.

- Experience with Git or other version control systems.

- Knowledge of website security, performance optimization, and debugging techniques.

- Familiarity with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an Agile development environment.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver projects within deadlines.

- Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period will be preferred.
