WMS Support Specialist. This role is instrumental in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our Warehouse Management System. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to end-users, managing system configurations, and collaborating with cross functional teams to optimize WMS performance.

Reports to IT Head Job Responsibility 1. WMS Application Management Administer and support the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for daily operations Ensure system availability, uptime, and performance monitoring Configure system workflows aligned with warehouse processes (inbound, outbound,inventory control) Manage system upgrades, patches, and enhancements 2. User Support & Issue Resolution Provide first-level and second-level support for WMS-related issues Troubleshoot system errors, transaction failures, and data discrepancies Track and resolve tickets within defined SLAs Coordinate with vendors or developers for critical issues 3.

• Optimization Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to understand process gaps Recommend and implement system-driven improvements for efficiency Support automation initiatives like barcode scanning, RFID, and handheld devices Optimize inventory accuracy and system reporting 4. Data Management &

• Reporting Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across systems Generate MIS reports related to inventory, stock movement,



and order status Monitor stock discrepancies and support audit processes 5. Integration &

• Technical Support Support integration between WMS and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally, etc.) Assist in API integrations, EDI processes, and third-party system connectivity Basic database management (SQL queries, data extraction, validation) Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and user manuals 6. Training &

• Stakeholder Coordination Train warehouse staff and end-users on WMS functionalities Prepare training materials and user guides Act as a liaison between IT, warehouse, and vendors Ensure proper change management and user adoption 7. Compliance &

• Security Ensure system access control and user authorization management Maintain backup procedures and disaster recovery readiness Follow IT policies, audit requirements, and data security standards Qualification and Experience B Tech, Computer Science, or a related field Proven experience in supporting Warehouse Management Systems or similar enterprise-level applications.

Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Skills

Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics processes.

Familiarity with SQL, database management, and scripting languages is a plus.
