Responsibilities:

- Perform welding tasks including but not limited to fabrication, repair, and modification of structural components, pipelines, and machinery used in the sponge iron production process.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements and procedures.
- Operate welding equipment such as arc welders, gas torches, and plasma cutters in a secure and efficient manner.
- Conduct visual inspections of welded surfaces to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with other maintenance and engineering staff to plan and execute welding projects in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Maintain accurate records of welding activities,



including materials used and hours worked.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Welder in an industrial setting, preferably in a sponge iron power plant or similar heavy industry.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques including SMAW, GTAW, and GMAW.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Robust attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Valid welding certifications (e.g., AWS, ASME) preferred.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required.
