Key duties include setting up equipment, cutting materials, inspecting welds for structural integrity, and adhering to strict safety protocols. Key Responsibilities

- Fabrication and Welding: Operate welding machinery (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) to weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Study engineering drawings, blueprints, and layouts to plan projects and ensure accurate measurements.
- Quality Inspection: Inspect welded joints and structures to identify flaws, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot welding tools, torches, and equipment.
- Metal Preparation: Cut, grind, and prepare metal surfaces for welding.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA and company safety procedures,



including wearing protective gear, ensuring a safe work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Experience: Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MIG/TIG/ARC welding, metal fabrication techniques, and using power tools.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials (often over 50 lbs), stand for long periods, and work in varied positions.
