We are looking for a passionate and skilled Website Developer (WordPress & Shopify) who enjoys building high-performing websites, solving technical challenges, and working in a collaborative agency environment. Job Summary

As a Website Developer at DigiDir, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress and Shopify websites. You will work closely with designers, SEO specialists, and digital marketers to deliver secure, responsive, and high-performing websites that support our clients' business goals.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in website development, bug fixing, website maintenance, e-commerce development, API integrations, and website performance optimization. Key Responsibilities:

Website Development

Develop responsive, mobile-friendly, and SEO-friendly websites using WordPress and Shopify.

Convert Figma, Adobe XD, or PSD designs into fully functional websites.

Build and customize WordPress themes and Shopify themes.

Develop custom landing pages and business websites.

Customize existing websites according to client requirements.

Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive layouts. WordPress Development

Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins.

Work with Elementor, Gutenberg, and other popular page builders.

Customize WooCommerce stores and implement e-commerce functionalities.

Create custom post types, custom fields (ACF), and dynamic content.

Perform WordPress updates, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Shopify

Development

Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid.

Configure Shopify stores, collections, products, and navigation.

Customize product pages, checkout flows,



and storefront functionality.

Integrate Shopify apps and third-party tools.

Maintain and optimize Shopify websites for performance and conversions.

Website

Maintenance & Support

Resolve website bugs and technical issues.

Perform regular website maintenance and updates.

Monitor website health, uptime, and security.

Maintain website backups and recovery processes.

Ensure compatibility after plugin and theme updates.

Website

Performance & Technical SEO

Optimize website loading speed and Core Web Vitals.

Improve website performance using caching and image optimization.

Implement Technical SEO best practices.

Configure XML sitemaps, robots.txt, redirects, and schema markup.

Ensure websites are search engine friendly. Integrations & Technical Operations

Integrate payment gateways such as Razorpay, Stripe, and PayPal.

Connect websites with third-party APIs and CRM tools.

Configure forms, email services, analytics, and tracking codes.

Perform website migrations between hosting platforms.

Configure domains, DNS records, SSL certificates, and hosting environments. Hosting & Server Management

Manage websites on Hostinger, Cloudways, cPanel, Plesk, DigitalOcean, AWS, or similar platforms.

Configure hosting environments and deploy websites.

Troubleshoot hosting-related issues.

Optimize server performance when required. Collaboration

Work closely with UI/UX designers, SEO specialists, and digital marketing teams.

Understand client requirements and provide suitable technical solutions.

Estimate development timelines and meet project deadlines.

Maintain proper documentation of project work.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1–3 years of experience in WordPress and Shopify development.

Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.





Experience with WordPress theme and plugin customization.

Experience with Shopify theme customization using Liquid.

Hands-on experience with WooCommerce.

Experience with Elementor and Gutenberg.

Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, AJAX, and third-party integrations.

Experience integrating payment gateways.

Good understanding of website security and performance optimization.

Knowledge of Technical SEO and Core Web Vitals.

Experience with website migrations and hosting management.

Familiarity with Git/GitHub version control.

Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced agency environment.

Experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).

Knowledge of Cloudflare CDN and DNS management.

Experience with LiteSpeed Cache, WP Rocket, or similar caching tools.

Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console.

Basic knowledge of conversion rate optimization (CRO).
