Receives products delivered to the branch, maintains inventory of goods, and implements positive warehouse practices
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receives and verifies delivered products as against delivery invoices.
- Physically inspects the products for damage or breakage and files documents for ease of retrieval.
- Manage and organize products in the stockroom (and in the selling area for self-service stores) according to the standard planogram and following First-in-first-out standards.
- Implement security guidelines in the stockroom and store areas. Accountable for handling keys to the stockroom and restricting entry to authorized persons.
- Pick and bag products ordered by dealers following packing standards.
- Perform cycle count in coordination with the Branch Supervisor for reconciliation of any product variances and physical verification and counting of stocks once a month.
- Prepare and submit reports on time as requested by Supply Chain Management.
- Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of any course or Grade 12 graduate with previous analogous work experience preferred.
- Can manage basic Microsoft office applications on a computer
- Good communications and interpersonal skills
- Able and willing to do physical activities such as lifting product boxes and bagged products for Dealers.
