Job Summary The Primary English Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and effective English language instruction to students in Grades I–V. The teacher will foster strong reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills while creating a positive, inclusive, and child-friendly classroom workplace that promotes holistic development.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver age-appropriate English lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.

- Develop students' reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, speaking, and listening skills.

- Use interactive teaching methods, storytelling, phonics, activities, and technology to enhance learning.

- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and teaching-learning materials.

- Assess student performance regularly and maintain accurate academic records.

- Provide constructive feedback and implement remedial support for students requiring additional assistance.

- Encourage creativity, critical thinking, communication, and confidence through classroom activities.

- Maintain discipline and create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.

- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, academic planning, and professional development programs.

- Collaborate with fellow teachers and coordinators to achieve academic excellence.

- Integrate values, life skills,



and 21st-century learning practices into classroom instruction.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in English or a relevant discipline.

- B.Ed. (Mandatory)

- Certification in Phonics or English Language Teaching will be an added advantage.

Experience

- Minimum 1 to 2 years of teaching experience in a CBSE/ICSE/International school.

- Experience teaching Primary Grades (I–V) is preferred.
