Role & responsibilities

- Minimum of 3 years of experience delivering cloud security projects, including guardrail implementation, architecture reviews, and security automation initiatives.
- Proven track record of successfully executing complex projects within consulting or professional services environments.
- In-depth understanding of cloud security principles and domains (such as identity and access management, network segmentation, data protection, and workload security).
- Strong knowledge of major cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their native security tooling is advantageous.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and security automation tools (such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Prisma Cloud, or Wiz) is beneficial.
- Skilled cloud security certifications such as CCSP, CCSK, AWS Security Specialty, or AZ-500 are a plus.
- Define cloud security guardrails across IAM, networking, and logging domains and enforce standards across client cloud environments.
- Manage numerous engagements, primarily focused on helping organisations secure their cloud infrastructure and cloud-native services.




- Lead threat modelling and security design reviews for cloud-native architectures and new cloud migration initiatives.
- Partner with platform and DevOps teams to automate security controls, policy enforcement, and monitoring capabilities.
- Conduct cloud security maturity assessments against industry-leading frameworks (such as CSA CCM, CIS Benchmarks, NIST CSF, etc.) to identify gaps and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with clients to understand their cloud strategy and risk landscape, ensuring all engagements are delivered to the highest quality and professional standards.
- Stay informed about emerging cloud threats, security technologies, and provider-native security capabilities, and incorporate this knowledge into client recommendations.
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise on cloud security architecture, shared responsibility models, and best practices to clients across various sectors.
