Remote | Volunteer | Under 6 hours/week Steady is building a human-first emotional wellbeing ecosystem that makes support more accessible through trained listeners and meaningful conversations. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, building systems, and creating structure from the ground up. As our Volunteer Operations Lead, you’ll own the entire volunteer journey—from the first application to training, onboarding, engagement, and quality management.

What you’ll do Review and screen volunteer applications.

Conduct introductory conversations with shortlisted candidates.

Design and improve the listener onboarding experience.

Coordinate and facilitate volunteer training sessions.

Maintain documentation, SOPs, and training resources.

Build systems to ensure listener quality and consistency.

Keep volunteers engaged through regular communication and feedback.

Work closely with the founder to scale the volunteer network as Steady grows. We’re looking for someone who Is organized and dependable.





Communicates clearly and confidently.

Enjoys working with and understanding people.

Can manage multiple moving parts without losing attention to detail.

Is proactive and comfortable taking ownership.

Has an interest in psychology, communities, education, HR, or operations (preferred but not required). What you’ll gain A founding role with significant ownership.
