Job Summary

RNTBCI is looking for a Voice Personal Assistant (VPA) Software Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in Android Automotive, voice assistant integration, speech technologies, and infotainment systems. The candidate will be responsible for developing, integrating, and optimizing in-vehicle voice assistant features for Automotive Infotainment (IVI) platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and integrate Voice Personal Assistant (VPA) features for Android Automotive/IVI systems.
- Work with voice recognition, Natural Language Understanding (NLU), and speech processing frameworks.
- Integrate third-party voice assistants (e.g., Google Assistant, Alexa) where applicable.
- Develop Android services and middleware components for voice interactions.
- Optimize voice command response time, accuracy, and performance.
- Integrate voice features with vehicle functions (navigation, media, HVAC, phone, etc.).
- Develop APIs for communication between voice services and vehicle systems.
- Debug voice processing, audio capture, and speech recognition issues.
- Collaborate with application, middleware, audio, connectivity, and cloud teams.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and code reviews.

Required Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in Android or Embedded Software development.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Kotlin, and/or C .




- Experience with Android Framework and AOSP.
- Knowledge of Android Automotive OS (AAOS).
- Understanding of Voice Recognition and Speech Processing.
- Experience with Android Audio Framework and Audio HAL.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and cloud connectivity.
- Familiarity with Linux/Embedded Linux.
- Experience with Git and Gerrit.
- Solid debugging skills using ADB and Logcat.
