- Develop and optimize CNC programs for VMC machines using CAM software (Mastercam/UG NX/PowerMill/Fusion 360).

- Select cutting tools, tool paths, and machining strategies for high-precision aerospace components.

- Generate and validate 2D & 3D tool paths through simulation.

- Prepare setup sheets, tooling lists, and machining documentation.

- Support machinists during program prove-out and fine-tune machining parameters.

- Troubleshoot machining issues, tool breakage, and dimensional deviations.

- Ensure compliance with aerospace standards (AS9100, NADCAP) and GD&T; requirements.

- Conduct root cause analysis and contribute to corrective/preventive actions.

- Drive process improvements to optimize cycle times, tool life, and cost efficiency.

- Collaborate with design, quality, production, and tool room teams.

- Train and mentor junior programmers/operators when required.





Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 510 years of CNC/VMC programming experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing.

- Robust expertise in CAM software (Mastercam / UG NX / PowerMill / Fusion 360).

- Solid understanding of GD&T;, aerospace drawings, and machining symbols.

- Hands-on experience with Titanium, Inconel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum.

- Knowledge of cutting tools, holders, fixtures, and machining parameters.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Production, or Tool Engineering.

- Additional certifications in CNC programming/CAM software preferred.
