TheGameVoice is looking for fresh writers to cover video game reviews and previews. We're an honest, no-hype gaming outlet, no paid praise, no fluff, just real takes from people who actually play.

What you'll do

Write reviews and previews for the games you love (and the ones you love to roast). We give you room to write in your own voice, no rigid templates, no corporate tone, no pressure. Be creative. Be honest. Just talk to us before you run with something big, because we believe valuable work starts with good communication.

The setup

This is a contract role. You get paid per approved article. At the end of each month you raise an invoice, and we process your payment against it. Simple and clear.

Who we're looking for

We only hire gamers. That means:

- A solid Steam profile that shows you actually play
- Strong, prolific writing that reads like a person, not a press release
- No plagiarism and no lazy AI writing. We can tell, and so can readers.

Your degree doesn't matter to us. Your range does.



We want players who jump across genres and know what makes a game tick. Hence, w e don't need your Resume. Upload your Test Article(pdf) in that Resume section while applying.

Being a gamer means range for us. Playing just one game on repeat doesn't quite make the cut.
