The Global Voice
India
The Global Voice is a geopolitics media house covering the world from an Indian perspective. We need a video editor who is as comfortable cutting a 45-minute panel discussion as they are producing a 60-second reel that stops someone mid-scroll. If you love the craft and you use AI video tools the way a professional should, let's talk.
THE ROLE This is an in-office Video Editor role where you will own all video output at The Global Voice. Long-form discussions, podcast recordings, interview cuts, short-form reels, social clips, and motion graphics. You are not just editing footage.
You are shaping how people experience this publication on screen. You have full creative ownership of the video identity of TGV.
SALARY: UPTO 5.4 LPA
IMMEDIATE JOINING IN GOA WHAT YOU WILL DO
Edit long-form content including panel discussions, interviews, and podcast recordings from 30 to 90 minutes

Use AI video tools including Descript, Runway, CapCut AI, and Adobe Firefly as part of your standard workflow, every day
Manage the full production pipeline from ingest to upload
Work with the graphic designer on visual consistency across video and static assets
Develop repeatable short-form formats that grow the audience on social platforms WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR A solid portfolio with both long-form edits and short-form social content. If you cannot show us the work,
we cannot consider you.
Proficiency in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, preferably both A genuine feel for pacing, storytelling, and what makes someone keep watching
Active daily use of AI video tools, not as a gimmick but as a real part of how you work The ability to deliver a polished 45-minute edit, including motion graphics and audio finishing, in under a day
Enough interest in news and geopolitics to understand what you are editing
You can be in Goa immediately WHO WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR
People who are slow and need a week to deliver a short reel
People who say they know AI tools but have never actually shipped work using them
People who need to be told exactly what to do with every frame 30 DAYS IN
Long-form and short-form content is going out on a fixed schedule without anyone chasing you for it. Your AI workflow is genuinely cutting delivery time, not just adding a step to the process. A 45-minute panel edit, including motion graphics and audio finishing, is coming in reliably within a day. The output already looks and sounds like it belongs to a professional publication. 60 DAYS IN
You can point to specific reels or clips and the watch time or reach they pulled in. YouTube watch time is climbing week over week, not just spiking once. At least one short-form format you built from scratch is working consistently enough that you're repeating it on purpose. You're the one flagging new formats to try based on what the data is telling you, not waiting to be handed a brief.
