Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Kochi.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage, selecting the best takes, and editing videos to meet creative briefs and brand guidelines. Daily tasks include cutting and trimming clips, adding transitions, color correction, sound syncing, and basic audio enhancement. The role also involves collaborating with directors, content creators, and designers to refine storylines, incorporate feedback, and deliver polished videos on schedule.

Editor will organize project files, maintain consistent naming and archiving practices,



and stay current with editing trends and platform-specific formats.

Qualifications

Solid proficiency with professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).

Experience with motion graphics and visual effects using tools such as After Effects or similar applications.

Solid understanding of color grading, sound design basics, and video formats for social media and digital platforms.

Ability to interpret creative briefs, follow brand guidelines, and tell clear visual stories through editing.

Good organizational skills for managing multiple projects, timelines, and file structures.

Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional creative teams on-site in Kochi.

Relevant experience in video production, media, or a related creative field; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous work is required.

Preferred: diploma or degree in film, media, visual communication, or related discipline, and familiarity with social media content trends.
