NJob Summary:

NThe ideal candidate will have experience in editing academic and promotional content, with a strong understanding of short-form video trends and motion graphics. You will work closely with the marketing team to produce high-quality content for digital platforms.

NKey Responsibilities:

- Edit video content from lectures, seminars, student fests, and campus events into engaging reels and YouTube Shorts.
N
- Edit marketing content,including promotional videos and digital campaigns.
N
- Handle editing of student and professor video bytes to ensure clarity, consistency, and storytelling impact.
N
- Apply robust storytelling skills to create emotionally engaging and brand-aligned content.
N
- Collaborate with the content, design, and marketing teams to deliver the best creative output.
N
- Add motion graphics, transitions, and animations to elevate content.
N
- Perform colour grading,audio balancing,



and final rendering for various digital platforms.
N
- Ensure all content adheres to GITAM's branding and quality standards.
N
- Support video shoots, photography, and basic videography when needed.
N
- Stay updated on contenttrends for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
N

nRequired Skills:

- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
N
- Strong knowledge of motion graphics and visual storytelling techniques.
N
- Experience in editing short-form content for social media platforms.
N
- Excellent time management and ability to meet tight deadlines.

- Attention to detail with a creative and proactive approach.

nPreferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge of social media video strategies and current trends.

- Basic shooting/editing experience with DSLRs or mirrorless cameras is a plus.

- Prior experience in an academic or creative marketing environment is advantageous
