Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Video Editor at Artful Moments Photography.

The Video

Editor will assemble and edit raw footage into polished videos that align with brand guidelines and client expectations. Typical tasks include organizing media, cutting and sequencing clips, applying transitions, adjusting audio levels, and performing color correction and grading. The role also involves creating simple motion graphics, incorporating titles and overlays, and collaborating with photographers and other team members to maintain a consistent visual style.

Editor will manage project timelines, follow creative briefs, and deliver final files in appropriate formats for online and client use.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production.

Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading and basic color correction workflows.

Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for titles, overlays, and simple animations.

Proficiency with professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).

Understanding of video formats, codecs, aspect ratios, and export settings for web and social media.

Solid sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and composition.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.

Effective communication skills and openness to feedback and revision cycles.

Prior experience in photography or creative media is beneficial.
