Role Description This Video Editor role is an internship position with a hybrid work arrangement based in Kochi, allowing some flexibility for work from home.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage, editing videos for educational and promotional content, and ensuring a coherent narrative and visual style aligned with the institution’s brand. Daily tasks include trimming and sequencing clips, adding transitions, text, and basic effects, synchronizing audio, and optimizing videos for different platforms.



The role also involves collaborating with trainers and marketing teams to understand content objectives, adapting edits based on feedback, and maintaining organized project files and media libraries.

Interns may assist in basic video production activities such as coordinating shoots or preparing visual assets for motion graphics.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production to handle end-to-end post-production workflows.

Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, appealing visual tone and style across projects.

Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging titles, lower-thirds, and visual elements.

Familiarity with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro) and basic audio editing tools.

Strong visual storytelling sense, attention to detail, and ability to follow brand guidelines and creative briefs.

Ability to work in a hybrid setting, manage time effectively, and respond constructively to feedback and revisions.

Relevant coursework, portfolio, or prior project experience in video editing or media production is highly beneficial.

A diploma, degree, or ongoing studies in media, film, visual communication, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.
