Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Vendor Manager with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in the interior design and fit-out industry. In this role, you will lead vendor sourcing, price negotiation, quality assurance, and supply chain coordination for materials (laminates, veneers, hardware, lighting, custom furniture, etc.) and turn-key sub-contractors. You will bridge the gap between our design/project management teams and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery, competitive pricing, and flawless project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Sourcing & Onboarding: Identify, evaluate, and onboard high-quality vendors, sub-contractors, and material suppliers specializing in residential and commercial interior projects.

Negotiation & Cost Optimization: Negotiate rates, payment terms, SLAs, and bulk discounts to maximize profit margins without compromising on material quality or standards.

Contract & Relationship Management: Manage vendor contracts, draft clear POs/terms, and foster long-term strategic partnerships with manufacturers, distributors,



and specialized craftsmen.

Supply Chain & Delivery Tracking: Coordinate material lead times with project heads to ensure zero site downtime and seamless on-time site deliveries.

Quality Assurance & Audits: Conduct periodic vendor performance reviews, factory visits, and material quality inspections to maintain strict standards.

Market Research & Trends: Stay updated on new interior materials, sustainable options, hardware innovations, and competitive market pricing trends.

Requirements & Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Vendor Manager, Procurement Specialist, or Purchase Lead specifically within the interior design, furniture, or modular interior industry.

Strong network of raw material suppliers, modular factories, hardware vendors, and specialized fit-out contractors.

In-depth knowledge of interior materials (wood, laminates, stone, metals, fabrics, hardware fittings) and procurement processes.

Excellent negotiation, contract management, and communication skills.

Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and MS Excel.
