: (JD) Electric Vechicle Technician Job Summary: The EV Technician is responsible for inspection, maintenance, diagnosis, repair, and servicing of electric two-wheelers while ensuring fleet readiness, safety, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: Vehicle Maintenance & Repairs · Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and servicing of electric two-wheelers. · Diagnose and repair electrical, battery, and mechanical faults. · Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and comply with safety standards before deployment. · Minimise vehicle downtime through timely repairs.
Battery
Management · Monitor battery health, charging cycles, and battery swapping operations. · Identify battery degradation or faults and recommend corrective actions. · Ensure protected handling, charging, storage, and disposal of EV batteries.
Operational
Support · Provide technical support for on-road breakdowns and field service requirements. · Assist the fleet team in ensuring vehicle readiness before rider handover. · Maintain maintenance logs and service history. Reporting & Documentation · Maintain records of repairs, spare parts consumption, and scheduled maintenance. · Report recurring technical issues to management. · Recommend process improvements to enhance fleet reliability and reduce downtime. Training & Customer Support · Educate riders on basic EV operation, charging, and troubleshooting. · Train junior technicians on SOPs and safety practices. · Provide technical assistance for customer complaints related to vehicle performance.
