Role Description The Veeva Vault Architect – Data Modeling role is a remote, contract position focused on designing and optimizing data models and system architecture within the Veeva Vault ecosystem. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining data structures, relationships, and metadata; aligning Vault configurations with business requirements; and ensuring scalability, performance, and data integrity.

The architect will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business processes into technical designs, oversee integration approaches, and review implementation work from development teams. Additional tasks include documenting architectural decisions, supporting project planning,



participating in system validation and testing, and providing guidance on best practices for Veeva Vault usage and governance.

Qualifications

- Strong background in Architecture and Architectural Design, with experience designing scalable, secure, and compliant data models in Veeva Vault or similar SaaS platforms.
- Hands-on experience in Software Development and system Integration, including working with APIs, data migration, and configuration of cloud-based enterprise applications.
- Demonstrated Project Management skills, including planning, prioritizing, coordinating cross-functional teams, and delivering solutions on schedule.
- Experience with life sciences, quality, or regulatory processes and familiarity with GxP, validation, and data governance best practices.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and to work effectively in a remote, distributed setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience with Veeva Vault configuration, administration, or architecture is highly desirable; relevant certifications are a plus.
