Key Responsibilities

Administration

- Manage and coordinate overall factory operations including production, logistics, maintenance, and administration.
- Develop strategies to improve productivity and reduce operational costs.
- Liaise effectively with government departments and institutions for compliance with ISO norms, electricity boards, labour departments, pollution control boards, and Factory Act requirements.

Maintenance

- Handle maintenance of production machinery and utilities including chilling plants, diesel generators, cooling towers, air compressors, elevators, transformers, and electrical control panels.
- Identify suppliers, manage spare parts inventory, and oversee annual maintenance contracts for machines and utilities.
- Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance across the entire plant to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Fire & Safety

- Ensure full compliance with government safety regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain all fire safety equipment and ensure their periodic inspection.




- Train employees on emergency protocols and fire safety procedures.
- Develop property-specific fire safety processes, evacuation plans, and conduct routine safety audits and fire drills.
- Safeguard plant assets through surveillance systems such as CCTV and ensure controlled movement of goods.

Labour Management

- Evaluate performance of workers and maintenance staff.
- Recruit, manage, and develop plant personnel.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and maintain a secure working environment.
- Build and maintain a trustworthy relationship with workers to foster a positive work culture.

Compliance and Legal

- Ensure the plant complies with statutory, environmental, and labour regulations.
- Maintain all documentation and records pertaining to approvals, licenses, and audits.

MIS / Reporting

- Prepare and present operational reports for senior management, covering production, maintenance, safety, and manpower metrics.
