Skill - UGNX Wiring Harness

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Wiring harness routing in UGNX, Electrical Harness workbench

- Review layouts of wiring harness in DMU and define routing and clamping strategy
- Understanding of functioning of various control systems, ECUs, Electrical- Electronic functions inside the Passenger cars
- Electrical Packaging of EE Aggregates in DMU
- Technical expertise in Wiring Harness design, Connector, electrification, DMU, packaging, and related Engineering requirements.
- Sheet metal/ Plastic support bracket design
- Implementing the Changes as per ECN

KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES & EXPERIENCE

- Experience in OEM wiring harness design process, vehicle harness development, VAVE Activities, Harness weight reduction,



cost optimization role.
- Awareness of future technological advancement in Wiring Harness development such as Battery, High Voltage will be an added advantage.
- Valuable understanding of design regulations standards, Connector, and terminal selection for Indian and international markets
- CAD tools - Unigraphics NX, L-Dorado, E3-Cable, PREE Vision

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors in mechanical engineering /electrical engineering or equivalent from reputed Institution / University PREFERRED SKILLS

Software –UGNX, Electrical Workbench, Team Centre, and MS Office proficiency
