Role Description The UAV Flight Line Technical role is a full time hybrid position based in Hyderabad, with some work-from-home flexibility depending on operational requirements. In this role, the team member is responsible for executing daily flight line activities for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), including pre-flight and post-flight inspections, system checks, and documentation of flight readiness. The role involves performing routine and preventive maintenance, diagnosing technical issues, and carrying out repair tasks to ensure UAVs meet safety and performance standards.

The individual will support ground operations,



coordinate with engineering and operations teams on technical issues, and maintain accurate maintenance records and quality control documentation. This position also requires adherence to safety protocols, participation in continuous improvement initiatives, and clear communication with stakeholders regarding UAV status and operational risks.

Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing UAV flight line and system issues.

Candidates should possess Preventive Maintenance capabilities to plan and execute scheduled checks on UAVs and related equipment.

Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills to perform mechanical, electrical, and electronic maintenance tasks on UAV platforms.

Candidates should possess Quality Control skills to verify compliance with safety standards, maintenance procedures, and documentation requirements.

Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey technical information clearly.

Relevant technical diploma or degree in aerospace, avionics, mechanical, electrical, or related engineering discipline is preferred.

Experience working on UAVs, aircraft systems, or defence/aerospace platforms, particularly in flight line or maintenance environments, is an advantage.

Knowledge of safety regulations, standard operating procedures, and use of diagnostic tools and test equipment is beneficial.

Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to evolving operational needs.
