Role Description The Transportation Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore. This role manages daily transportation schedules, coordinates vehicles and drivers, and ensures that all transfers for clients and tour groups run on time.

Responsibilities include confirming bookings, updating itineraries, communicating with vendors and internal teams, and resolving any transportation issues or delays.

The Transportation

Coordinator interacts directly with customers to provide clear travel information, handles last-minute changes, and maintains accurate records of trips and costs.



The role also involves monitoring service quality, supporting operational improvements, and following safety and compliance guidelines.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Operations Management skills to oversee daily transport activities and improve processes.

Candidates should possess solid Transportation Management skills to plan routes, manage vendors, and coordinate vehicle utilization.

Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact with clients, drivers, and partners.

Candidates should possess strong Organization Skills to manage schedules, documentation, and multiple bookings simultaneously.

Relevant experience in travel, logistics, or transportation coordination is beneficial.

Ability to work on-site in Coimbatore, including occasional extended hours based on travel schedules.

Proficiency with basic office software and booking or scheduling tools is an advantage.

A diploma or degree in logistics, business, tourism, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
