Role Description The Training and Placement Manager role at Chennais Amirta IIHM is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The individual in this role will coordinate training programs, soft skills sessions, and industry-oriented workshops to enhance learner employability.

They will build and maintain relationships with hotels, restaurants, and other hospitality organizations to secure internships and job opportunities. Daily responsibilities include planning placement drives, liaising with recruiters, preparing learners for interviews and assessments, and tracking placement outcomes. The role also involves collaborating with academic staff to align curriculum with industry needs, maintaining placement records,



and providing regular career guidance and counseling to learners.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in training coordination, program planning, and learner development, with the ability to design and deliver employability-focused sessions.
- Proficiency in stakeholder management, networking with industry partners, and relationship-building with recruiters in the hospitality sector.
- Ability to conduct placement drives, organize campus recruitment activities, and manage end-to-end placement processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on mentoring and guiding learners from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience in hospitality, education management, HR, or career services, preferably within a hotel management or related institution.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills, including maintaining placement data, reports, and follow-up documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, HR, Education, or a related field; a master’s degree or relevant certifications are an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and management, adapt to institutional needs, and uphold a learner-centered, inclusive approach.
