Role Description This is a full-time, in office role based in Bengaluru for a Traffic and Transport Engineer. The role involves conducting traffic studies, surveys, and data analysis to support transportation planning and design decisions. The engineer will develop and calibrate transport models, assess capacity and level-of-service, and contribute to feasibility studies for road and rail transport projects.

Responsibilities include preparing technical reports, drawings, and presentations; coordinating with multidisciplinary teams; and supporting project management activities such as schedules, documentation, and stakeholder communication.



The role also includes assisting in the development of training materials and knowledge-sharing sessions within the institute.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess skills in Transportation Planning and Transport Modelling for urban, regional, and corridor-level studies.

Candidates should possess knowledge of Rail Transport and broader transport systems, including integration with other modes.

Candidates should possess Civil Engineering skills relevant to geometric design, traffic infrastructure, and construction considerations.

Candidates should possess Project Management capabilities, including planning, documentation, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Beneficial qualifications include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a closely related field.

Beneficial skills include proficiency in transport modelling software, CAD or GIS tools, strong analytical abilities, and clear technical writing and communication.

Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, collaborate effectively in teams, and manage multiple assignments with attention to detail.
