Job Summary: The Town Planner will be responsible for developing and implementing planning strategies that support sustainable growth and development within the community. This role involves collaborating with local stakeholders, assessing land use, and ensuring compliance with zoning regulations to foster a thriving environment for both residents and businesses.

Key Responsibilities: Community Engagement: Work closely with local businesses, residents, and government officials to gather input and communicate planning initiatives.

Site Analysis: Evaluate land use and zoning regulations to provide recommendations for development and improvements.

Planning Projects: Develop and manage planning projects that enhance community infrastructure, public spaces, and business opportunities.

Policy Development: Assist in creating policies that promote sustainable development and align with community goals.

Research and Reporting:



Conduct research on best practices and trends in urban planning; prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that all planning activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field. years of experience in town planning or a similar role preferred. Strong understanding of zoning laws, land use planning, and community development principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in GIS software and other planning tools.
