Job Title: TMS Senior Developer

Location: Hyderabad

Experience: 5 to 9 years

Key Responsibilities

Building Software

Write and fix code in Java and Python, with tests and clear notes.

Build and maintain connections (APIs) that let our systems share data.

Follow the team's coding standards and existing ways of doing things.

Working with Data and Systems

Write quick, efficient SQL to pull and manage data from our databases.

Set up, adjust, and customize our Transportation Management System (TMS) to fit the business.

Connect to outside services and tools, and handle errors gracefully when something goes wrong.

Help build automated jobs that move and clean up data,



making sure the data stays accurate and jobs can safely run again without creating duplicates.

Keeping Things Reliable and Secure

Write tests to catch problems early and keep the software working as expected.

Follow safe coding habits to protect data and keep the system secure.

Add logging so issues can be spotted quickly and help fix problems when they come up.

Teamwork and Delivery

Use our version control and build tools daily, and take part in code reviews and team meetings.

Break work into manageable pieces, give reasonable time estimates, and keep everyone updated on progress.

Work with analysts, project managers, and QA to understand what's needed and keep task boards up to date.

Experience

5 years of work experience, including hands-on coding in Java, Python, and SQL.

At least 5 years of experience with any TMS or supply chain industry applications.

Knowledge of TMS platforms such as Manhattan, Blue Yonder, Oracle, e2open, or McLeod is an added plus.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience.

A good understanding of how web applications and APIs work.

Comfortable using version control (Git) and basic build/deploy tools.

A clear communicator with strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience connecting a TMS with other systems like ERP, warehouse, or carrier software.

Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

Some exposure to modern software architecture.

Basic knowledge of reporting or business intelligence (BI) tools.
