NReport to: Lead Textile Designer
NAbout the Role
nWeare looking for a creative and motivated Textile Designer to join our design team, supporting the development of rugs, pillows, and poufs for the U.S. market. This role will require you to research trends, develop mood boards, create designs, and work with vendors on sampling. You'll work closely with senior team members and vendors to bring original design concepts to life.
NKey Responsibilities
n- Support the design team in developing textile concepts across rug, pillow, and pouf categories aligned with U.S. market trends
N- Research industry trends, competitor products, and market developments to inform design direction
N- Create CAD designs, embroidery patterns, and textile prints
N- Participate in design reviews and contribute ideas during team brainstorms
N- Collaborate with vendors during the development process, supporting communication and follow-ups
N- Track project timelinesand ensure design files and documentation are accurate and up to date
N- Travel to factories to support vendor development and production alignment
NQualifications
n- Degree in Textile Design (NIFT, NID, or equivalent)
N- 2-3 years of experiencein textile design, with some exposure to rugs and pillows
N- A working understandingof rug weaving patterns, embroidery designs, and textile prints
N- Robust sense of color, texture, and material combinations
N- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage tasks across multiple projects
N- Fluent English communication;
ability to work with diverse stakeholders across cultures
N- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and CAD tools
