About the Role

We are looking for a Technology Specialist with hands-on experience in Python, React.js, Data Engineering, Databases, and AI/ML to build and enhance our AI-powered equity research platform. The ideal candidate should have strong software engineering skills, experience working with large datasets, and the ability to collaborate with business and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Responsibilities

- Develop scalable backend applications and REST APIs using Python.
- Build responsive web applications using React.js.
- Develop data processing pipelines using PySpark and Pandas .
- Design and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Build and integrate AI-powered solutions using LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAG, embeddings, and vector databases.
- Develop and consume REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Debug, troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain production applications.
- Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and code quality.

Collaboration & Ownership

- Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features on time.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, testing, and production releases.
- Prepare technical documentation and share knowledge with the team.
- Communicate project status, technical challenges, and solutions effectively with stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Data Science, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Python application development.
- Strong experience with React.js, SQL, REST APIs, and data processing using PySpark and Pandas.
- Good understanding of AI/ML concepts and LLM-based applications.
- Solid analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or similar AI frameworks.
- Exposure to Graph Databases (Neo4j) or Vector Databases (Pinecone, FAISS, ChromaDB, Weaviate).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience working with financial or analytics platforms is an added advantage.
