Role Description The Technical Lead will oversee end-to-end technical delivery for Hobfit’s health platform, ensuring robust architecture, high-quality code, and scalable solutions. This full time, on-site role in Faridabad involves leading a cross-functional engineering team, mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and setting coding standards and best practices.

The Technical

Lead will collaborate closely with product, design, data, and medical teams to translate business and clinical requirements into reliable features and integrations, including AI-driven workout systems, data pipelines, and mobile/web applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and prioritizing sprints, resolving technical issues, optimizing performance and security,



and driving continuous improvement in the development lifecycle. The role also entails evaluating new technologies, maintaining documentation, and supporting deployment, monitoring, and incident response.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in software engineering, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and building scalable backend and frontend systems.

Hands-on experience with modern web and mobile development frameworks, APIs, and microservices, preferably in health-tech or consumer-facing platforms.

Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure), CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and monitoring tools.

Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and database technologies (SQL and NoSQL), with experience in performance tuning.

Experience leading engineering teams, mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and establishing technical best practices.

Background in designing secure systems and handling sensitive user data, with familiarity in compliance and privacy standards relevant to healthcare.

Ability to work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, translate product requirements into technical solutions, and manage technical roadmaps.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment, with strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and clear communication abilities.
