Full Stack Technical Lead – Simplify Healthcare

Role Overview

Simplify Healthcare is looking for a high-impact Full Stack Technical Lead to drive the end-to-end delivery of complex, scalable solutions across our modern healthcare platform. This role combines hands-on engineering, architectural ownership, and team leadership across React, .NET 10 microservices, Azure cloud, and PostgreSQL.

You will play a critical role in shaping engineering excellence—mentoring teams, advancing DevOps maturity, and embedding AI-assisted development practices into everyday workflows.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Leadership

- Design and deliver scalable full-stack applications using React, .NET 10, Azure, and PostgreSQL
- Architect backend systems leveraging MassTransit (RabbitMQ/Azure Service Bus), MediatR, TickerQ, and Hangfire
- Define data modeling, migrations, and access strategies using EF Core, Npgsql, and Dapper
- Drive PostgreSQL best practices including performance tuning, connection pooling, and replication strategies

2. Frontend Engineering

- Lead development of modern React applications (component architecture, state management, API integration)
- Establish UI standards, reusable component libraries, and frontend patterns
- Partner with Product & UX teams to deliver intuitive,



accessible healthcare experiences

3. DevOps & Cloud Engineering

- Own Azure DevOps pipelines across build, test, security (SAST), and multi-stage deployments
- Integrate AI-assisted code review workflows (Claude API) into CI/CD pipelines
- Manage SonarQube quality gates and address security vulnerabilities
- Oversee Azure services including:
- App Services
- Service Bus
- Azure PostgreSQL (Flexible Server)
- Redis
- Application Insights
- Implement OpenTelemetry-based observability for performance monitoring

4. Code Quality & Security

- Enforce high standards in code quality, performance, and maintainability
- Lead secure coding practices to prevent risks such as:
- SQL injection
- Authorization gaps
- Input validation issues
- Promote test-driven development (TDD) using xUnit and Moq
- Conduct thorough and constructive code reviews

5. AI-Assisted Engineering

- Drive adoption of Claude Code and AI-assisted development practices
- Define prompt engineering standards for automated reviews in CI pipelines
- Enable teams to leverage AI responsibly for pair programming and productivity

6. Team Leadership & Mentorship

- Lead and mentor a team of 6–15 engineers across frontend, backend, and infrastructure
- Conduct 1:1s, design reviews, and technical workshops
- Support onboarding and continuous skill development
- Collaborate with leadership, product, and program teams on roadmap execution
