Role Description The Technical Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Chandigarh, responsible for overseeing the design, development, and delivery of IntelleWings’ AML/CFT and fraud detection technology solutions. This role involves leading a cross-functional engineering team, guiding architecture and technical decisions, and ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performance systems.

The Technical

Lead collaborates closely with product, data science,



and compliance stakeholders to translate business and regulatory requirements into robust technical implementations. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing code, mentoring engineers, managing sprints, implementing best practices in software development and DevOps, and troubleshooting critical production issues. The person in this role will drive continuous improvement, champion modern engineering practices, and contribute hands-on to core modules when needed.

Qualifications Strong proficiency in backend and frontend software development, with experience in designing scalable, distributed systems and APIs.

Hands-on experience with modern cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable deployments.

Background in data-intensive systems, including working with databases, data pipelines, and integrating machine learning or analytics components.

Proven leadership skills, including team management, technical mentoring, code review, and driving engineering standards and best practices.

Experience in fintech, regtech, or compliance-related products (AML, fraud detection, transaction monitoring) is highly advantageous.

Ability to collaborate with product managers, compliance experts, and business stakeholders, and to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Comfort working on-site in Chandigarh, with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset and readiness to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
