Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical Course Counsellor role based in Bengaluru.
The Technical Course
Counsellor will guide prospective learners in selecting appropriate technical programs, explain course structures and outcomes, and clarify admission processes and financial options. The role involves conducting consultations through in-person meetings, calls, and email, maintaining accurate records of interactions, and following up with leads to support their enrollment decisions. The counsellor will collaborate with faculty and operations teams to stay updated on curriculum changes, batch schedules, and learning pathways, and will provide feedback from learners to help improve course offerings.
The role also includes participating in information sessions, events, and outreach activities to raise awareness of AcceleratorX programs.
Qualifications
Strong communication and counseling skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, accessible language.
Experience in academic or career counseling, admissions, or student support, ideally within technical education or skilled training.
Customer service and relationship-building skills to handle inquiries, address concerns, and maintain long-term learner engagement.
Basic understanding of technology domains (such as software development, data, or cloud) and interest in staying current with industry trends.
Ability to use CRM tools, spreadsheets, and communication platforms to track leads, manage follow-ups, and report on counseling activities.
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in engineering, computer science, or business is an advantage.
Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple enquiries, meet enrollment targets, and support batch timelines.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, learner-focused environment and collaborating across cross-functional teams.
