Our mission is to empower firm leaders by providing capital, operational support, technology, and strategic guidance—helping firms scale while preserving their independence and culture. All roles below support U.S.-based tax engagements for Elevate partner firms and work closely with onshore tax teams.

Work Schedule for All Roles: 3:00 PM IST – 12:00 AM IST (4:30 AM EST – 1:00 PM EST)

Location: Ahmedabad, India (Office/Hybrid) Tax Director - Future Opportunities

Experience Level: Senior Leadership Overview The Tax Director provides senior-level oversight of U.S. tax engagements and offshore tax delivery. This role focuses on quality assurance, technical leadership, strategic guidance, and people development, while maintaining strong collaboration with U.S.-based partners, clients, and engagement leaders. Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic oversight of multiple U.S. tax engagements

Ensure compliance with U.S. tax regulations (IRC), IRS requirements, and firm quality standards





Review complex tax returns, workpapers, and tax positions, including corporate, partnership, and individual filings

Partner with U.S.-based leadership on engagement planning, resourcing, and delivery execution

Drive process improvements, quality control, standardization, and adoption of tax technologies/tools across engagements

Lead team development initiatives, including mentoring managers and building technical and leadership capabilities Team Leadership & People Management

Develop and mentor managers, supervisors, and senior staff

Drive performance management, coaching, and capability development

Ensure consistency, quality, and scalability across tax teams Qualifications

12+ years of progressive US tax experience in a public accounting

CA/CPA/EA preferred but not required

Deep technical knowledge of U.S. tax regulations, including corporate, partnership, and individual taxation
