As a Senior Tax Accountant, your primary responsibility will be to focus on tax- reporting, advice, planning, and compliance of all direct and indirect taxes. You will also participate with reviews of agreements with vendors, customers, credits, banks, etc.
Responsibilities
- Optimize the tax position and identify tax opportunities
- Plan/strategize to minimize regional effective tax rate
- Collaborate with Global Tax to minimize overall company effective tax rate
- Prepare federal, state, and jurisdictional returns accurately and timely
- Assist Director or Finance with the external review process with outside consultants
- Prepare annual updates to transfer pricing agreements
About you
- Bachelors degree in accounting,
finance or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Prior TAX experience
- Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Excellent problem solving skills - anticipating, initiating and resolving issues
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse, remotely-located, and cross-functional teams
