Work Location: Bay Area Container Terminal Depot, Hazira, Shivrampura Village, Near Sea Bird CFS, Choryasi, Surat, Gujarat – 394510. (May be required to attend nearby 1–2 depots on requirement.)
About the Company:
We are an independent specialist firm offering comprehensive surveillance, supervisory and inspection services in the marine & container industry. We do not engage in trading, shipping or transportation, enabling us to maintain full impartiality. Our team comprises senior Master Mariners, engineers and surveyors with decades of experience.
We hold multiple licences (insurance survey, dry-van/reefer container survey, tank container survey and dangerous goods handling) and use advanced equipment, digital imaging and rapid-transmission systems to provide high-quality technical reports.
Qualification
B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME)
Freshers eligible. Male candidates only (as per requirement)
Residence Requirement:
Resident of Surat or within 10 km proximity of Hazira.
Working Hours:10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Saturday (6 days a week).
Mandatory:
Own bike and valid driving licence.
Initial Induction & Training:
Selected candidate will undergo one week’s induction training at Mumbai.
Company will reimburse 3rd AC train fare / bus fare for travel related to training.
- Food allowance during training: Rs. 350 per day.
Allowances:
Mobile allowance: Rs. 500 / month.
Petrol / conveyance allowance: Rs. 4 / km from residence to allocated depot and back.
For Surat to Hazira commute: Rs. 150 / day (Surat to nominated depot and back).
(Conveyance rules apply as per deployment.)
Salary Revision & Increment:
Salary review after completion of 6 months’ probation — revision based on performance during the probation period.
First annual increment on completion of one year of service.
Insurance:
- All employees are covered under the Company’s Workmen Compensation insurance policy.
Leave Entitlement:
On completion of 6 months’ probation, employee will be eligible for paid leave as per company policy:
Privilege Leave (PL): 20 days per annum
Casual Leave (CL): 5 days per annum
- Sick Leave (SL): 5 days per annum
Other Requirements / Job Responsibilities (brief):
Conduct mechanical site surveys/inspections at depot and nearby sites.
Record observations, prepare basic technical/daily reports and coordinate with depot staff.
- Follow safety and operational procedures during site visits.
