- Prioritize workload and execute tasks in alignment with industry best practices to ensure smooth operations.
- Analyze operations and recommend improvements to minimize plant stoppages and prevent breakdowns.
- Direct and supervise field operators to ensure the sinter plant is operated in a clean, safe, and efficient manner during shift operations.
- Proactively identify fire and safety hazards, taking necessary precautions and reporting in accordance with site policies and procedures.
- Report any accidents, injuries, or staff sickness to the supervisor or competent authority, ensuring proper documentation of accidents/injury procedures.
- Ensure the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) based on the work workplace and tasks.
- Oversee lockout-tag out procedures and the safe isolation of equipment during shutdowns.
