Role Description The Supply Chain Trainer (Contractual Position) is a full-time, in office role based in Mumbai. This role focuses on delivering training programs for supply chain and operations teams, including warehouse staff, logistics personnel, and vendor partners.

Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and updating training materials, conducting classroom and on-the-floor training sessions, and organizing workshops on standard operating procedures, safety, and quality practices. The trainer will assess skill gaps, monitor performance improvement, and provide regular feedback to learners and supervisors to ensure process adherence and efficiency.



The role also involves collaborating with operations leaders to align training content with business goals, documenting training outcomes, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain network.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong training and facilitation skills, including the ability to conduct classroom, hands-on, and on-the-job training sessions for diverse teams.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of supply chain, warehousing, logistics operations, and standard operating procedures within an e-commerce or retail environment.
- Candidates should possess skills in curriculum design, preparation of training materials, and use of training tools or learning management systems.
- Candidates should possess strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and handle large groups.
- Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify skill gaps, track training effectiveness, and recommend improvements.
- Candidates should possess basic computer proficiency (e.g., MS Office, documentation tools) and the ability to maintain accurate training records and reports.
- Relevant experience as a trainer in supply chain, logistics, operations, or manufacturing is preferred; prior experience in e-commerce will be an advantage.
- A diploma or degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related field is beneficial; recognized training or facilitation certifications are an added plus.
