Role Description The Student Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara. This role involves guiding students through the process of choosing suitable New Zealand programs and institutions, explaining entry requirements, and outlining academic and career pathways.

The Student

Counselor will conduct one-on-one counseling sessions, manage follow-ups, and provide accurate information on courses, tuition fees, scholarships, and living conditions in New Zealand.



The role includes coordinating with internal education specialists and partner institutions, supporting students with documentation for admissions and visas, and ensuring a smooth experience from initial inquiry to pre-departure. The counselor will also participate in events, seminars, and outreach activities to promote New Zealand education and strengthen relationships with students and families.

Qualifications

Strong Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to guide learners on academic options and long-term career pathways.

Excellent Communication abilities, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and presentation skills.

Customer Service capabilities to manage inquiries professionally, build trust with students and families, and maintain ongoing engagement.

Background or strong interest in Education, preferably with exposure to international higher education systems.

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Management, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.

Prior experience in student counseling, overseas education consulting, or a similar advisory role is highly beneficial.

Ability to work in a structured, target-oriented environment, manage multiple cases simultaneously, and maintain accurate records.

Proficiency with common office and CRM tools, and comfort with online communication platforms for student interactions and events.
