Role Description The Student Counsellor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi and also in Kodungallur.

The Student

Counsellor will meet with students and families to understand their academic background, interests, and goals, and provide individualized guidance on suitable courses, universities, and career paths. Day-to-day tasks include conducting tele counselling sessions, explaining admission procedures, maintaining accurate records of student interactions,



and following up with prospective students. The role also involves responding to inquiries, delivering presentations or information sessions, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring a positive and professional experience for all students who engage with Bookofy Education.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling skills to support learners in academic decision-making.

Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to clearly convey information to students and families.

Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to manage inquiries and maintain a supportive, respectful environment.

Candidates should possess knowledge of Education systems, courses, and admission processes.

Relevant experience in educational counseling, admissions, or academic advising is preferred.

Bachelor’s degree Ability to work on-site in Kochi branch, manage a wide-ranging caseload, and use basic computer and office software effectively.
