Role Description The Student Advisor / Counsellor will work full time on-site at ICAD School of Learning in Maharashtra, India. In this role, the individual will provide academic and personal counseling to students, helping them understand course options, entrance exam pathways, and long-term career prospects. Daily responsibilities include meeting with students and families, conducting counseling sessions, responding to queries, and guiding students through admissions and enrollment processes.

The Advisor / Counsellor will collaborate with teaching staff to monitor student performance, identify areas of concern,



and recommend supportive interventions. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring a supportive, student-centered environment.

Qualifications

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with students and families.

Demonstrated experience in student counseling or academic advising, preferably in coaching or educational institutions.

Effective communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication in English and relevant local languages.

Background in education or a related field, with an understanding of competitive exams such as Engineering entrances and NEET-UG.

Customer service orientation, with a focus on addressing student and parent queries professionally and efficiently..

Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and maintain accurate documentation.

Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple student cases simultaneously.

Comfort working in a structured, exam-focused workplace and collaborating with faculty and administration.
