NPosition: Structural Design Engineer

NLocation: Mumbai

NQualification

n- Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

NExperience

n- Minimum 12-18 years of experience in structural engineering.

N- Mandatory experience inhigh-rise building construction projects.

N- Experience with multinational construction companies, EPC contractors, or PMC/PMCM organizations is preferred.

NKey Responsibilities

n- Review and monitor structural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, design specifications, project standards, and applicable codes.

N- Coordinate with the Client, design consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams on all structural engineering matters.

N- Review structural calculations, shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals submitted by contractors.

N- Monitor construction activities to ensure structural works are executed in accordance with approved designs and quality requirements.

N- Identify structural design or construction issues and recommend appropriate technical solutions.

N- Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to verify compliance with project specifications and engineering standards.





N- Coordinate structural interfaces with architectural and MEP disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.

N- Ensure compliance with Samsung C&T; PMCM standards, quality requirements, HSE regulations, and statutory codes.

N- Support project planning, progress monitoring, and technical reporting.

N- Participate in technical meetings, design reviews, and project coordination meetings with stakeholders.

N- Assist in resolving technical queries, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and engineering change requests.

NRequired Skills

n-Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and structural steel design and construction.

N- Thorough understanding of high-rise building structural systems, construction methodologies, and engineering standards.

N- Familiarity with international design codes and relevant Indian Standards.

N- Proficiency in reviewing structural drawings and engineering documentation.

N- Working knowledge of engineering software such as ETABS, SECURE, STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.

N- Excellent analytical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

N- Ability to work effectively in a multinational PMCM project environment.

NPreferred Experience

n- Experience in commercial, mixed-use, residential, or institutional high-rise building projects.

N- Experience in design coordination, structural quality assurance, and contractor management within PMCM or PMC projects.
