Job Overview Responsible for winding LV/HV coils for oil-cooled and dry-type transformers as per design specifications, ensuring quality, precision, and adherence to testing standards.
Key Responsibilities Perform coil winding for distribution and power transformers (up to 5MVA). Operate winding machines, tensioners, and insulation equipment. Follow engineering drawings and design parameters. Maintain quality standards as per IS/IEC specifications. Handle tap leads, interlayer insulation, and core assembly support. Report material consumption and maintain shop-floor discipline.
Requirements ITI/Diploma in Electrical or relevant field. Knowledge of copper/aluminum winding and insulation materials. Ability to read electrical drawings and winding data sheets.
