Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Store Manager – Rare & Basics (R&B;) based in Thiruvananthapuram.

The Store

Manager will be responsible for the overall performance and profitability of the store by driving sales, delivering an exceptional customer experience, and ensuring operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include

Drive sales, profitability, and store productivity by achieving monthly and annual business targets.

Lead, coach, and develop the store team to deliver exceptional customer service and improve performance.

Monitor and improve key retail KPIs, including Sales, Conversion, ATV, IPT, ASP, UPT, Footfall, and Productivity.

Ensure excellent visual merchandising standards in line with brand guidelines.

Manage inventory,



stock replenishment, stock accuracy, and shrinkage control.

Ensure compliance with SOPs, audit standards, cash handling, and operational policies.

Plan manpower, staff schedules, and daily store operations to maximize productivity.

Analyze store performance reports and implement action plans to improve business results.

Collaborate with regional and support teams to execute promotions, marketing initiatives, and seasonal campaigns.

Foster a positive, performance-driven work environment while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Store Manager in fashion, apparel, or lifestyle retail.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving store profitability.

Strong leadership, team management, coaching, and people development skills.

Excellent customer service and customer relationship management skills.

Good knowledge of visual merchandising, inventory management, and retail operations.

Experience in monitoring and improving retail KPIs such as Sales, Conversion, ATV, IPT, ASP, UPT, and Productivity.

Knowledge of retail loss prevention, stock control, and shrinkage management.

Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel and retail POS systems.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred.

Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays as per business requirements.
