Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Store Manager role based in Kanpur.

The Store

Manager oversees daily store operations, including supervising staff, managing schedules, and ensuring adherence to company policies and visual merchandising standards. The role includes driving sales performance, monitoring inventory levels, coordinating stock replenishment, and maintaining accurate records for shrinkage and store assets.

Manager is responsible for delivering an excellent customer experience, handling escalations, and implementing promotional activities and in-store events. This position also involves training and coaching team members, maintaining store hygiene and safety, and collaborating with regional management to meet revenue and brand objectives.

Qualifications

Retail operations expertise, including store supervision, inventory management, and cash handling

Sales and customer service skills, with the ability to achieve targets and build loyal customer relationships

Team leadership abilities, including staff training, performance monitoring, and conflict resolution

Visual merchandising and product presentation skills aligned with ethnic fashion and brand guidelines

Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in basic computer applications and POS systems

Prior experience as a Store Manager or in a supervisory role in fashion or lifestyle retail preferred

Understanding of Indian ethnic wear and current fashion trends is an advantage

Ability to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and holidays as required

Graduate degree in any discipline; retail or fashion-related qualifications are beneficial
