jJob Description – Store Manager (Apna Mart) Job Title: Store Manager Department: Retail Operations Location: As per business requirement Job Summary The Store Manager is responsible for managing the overall store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, maintaining inventory accuracy, leading the store team, and ensuring compliance with company SOPs. The role focuses on driving operational excellence and delivering a seamless shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities Store Operations - Manage day-to-day store operations efficiently.

- Ensure timely store opening and closing as per SOP.
- Maintain store cleanliness, hygiene, and visual merchandising standards.
- Ensure 100% compliance with company policies and operational guidelines. Sales &
- Business Performance - Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Drive customer acquisition and repeat business.
- Monitor key business metrics and prepare action plans to improve store performance. Team Management - Recruit, train, and mentor store staff.
- Prepare staff rosters and manage attendance.
- Conduct daily briefings and performance reviews.
- Ensure employee grooming, discipline, and productivity.

Inventory

Management - Monitor stock availability and minimize stock-outs.

- Ensure accurate inward, outward,



and inventory reconciliation.
- Control shrinkage, wastage, and damages through regular audits.

Customer

Service - Deliver an excellent customer experience.

- Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction standards. Compliance &
- Reporting - Ensure compliance with safety, audit, and statutory requirements.
- Submit daily sales, inventory, attendance, and operational reports.
- Coordinate with Cluster Manager and support functions for smooth store operations. Eligibility - Graduation in any discipline (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Store Manager in Retail, Grocery, Supermarket, or Quick Commerce.
- Robust leadership and team management skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, and MS Excel.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts and weekends.
