Responsibilities:· · Oversee daily store operations including receipt, storage, and issue of raw materials and finished goods. · Ensure proper inventory management and stock control within the warehouse. · Supervise stores executives and assign daily tasks related to material handling and documentation. · Monitor incoming materials and ensure proper material verification with purchase orders and delivery challans. · Ensure correct storage, labeling, and identification of materials in the warehouse. · Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP or inventory management systems. · Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams for smooth material flow. · Ensure timely material issuance to production based on requirements. · Conduct regular stock verification and inventory audits. · Identify and report inventory discrepancies or shortages. · Maintain proper documentation including GRN (Goods Receipt Note), material issue notes, and stock registers.
· Ensure compliance with warehouse safety and material handling procedures. · Monitor warehouse space utilization and improve storage efficiency. · Support management with inventory reports and stock analysis. · Train and guide store staff on proper inventory handling procedures.
Skills & Requirements:· · Robust knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations . · Experience with ERP systems or inventory management software . · Ability to supervise teams and coordinate with multiple departments. · Good organizational and problem-solving skills. · Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and material handling procedures .
Educational
Qualification:· · Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field . · 4 to 10 years of experience in stores in manufacturing.
